Winter Surfkids Camp 2024
Surf Camp focuses on Surfing, fun and safety!
- Multiple activities to experience surfers’ lifestyle, include surfing; building wildfire on the beach, making your own S’more; Tie-Dye & Wax dye T-shirt workshop & Surf-styled Screen printing.
- Every kid will get their own surfboard during the camp for the surfing activities, maximising their time surfing in the water.
- Coaches will teach different skills including basic & advanced skills according to groups’ progress & individual ability.
- Welcome to kids with different surfing levels! From no experience to improver grom surfers!
- We will divide group according to their ages & experiences.
Outcome:
- Learn/Improve surfing skills, get deeply in touch with the ocean!
- Be independent. Step out of their comfort zone.
- Get positive energy from the ocean! Make friends and become a happy surfer with aloha spirit!
Activities:
- Wet Activities: Surfing+Improving skills
- Dry Activities: Screen printing, Tie Dye & Wax Dye Workshop, Fire making skills, S’more & Hot Chocolate time. etc
- Other Activities: Surf Safety, beach games, surf related water games.
- Everyday: half day dry activities & half day wet activities
Target:
5 – 14 years old
Time:
- Meet up at Lower Cheung Sha Beach: 10:00 – 15:30
(3 Days non-overnight) - Pick up & Drop off at Central Pier No.6 everyday: 8:15- 16:45
Language:
- Mainly English
- Chinese-speaking instructors available upon request

1000-1015 Get Change & Camp Rule
1015-1200 Dry Activities & Beach Games & Surfing Land drills
1200-1300 Lunch & Free time; Rehydration & Sunscreen Time
1300-1445 Afternoon Surfing Session
1445-1530 Tidy Up & Get Change

No more than 1:8 in water ratio

Qualifications of Our Head Coaches :
- ISA (International Surfing Association) Surf & SUP & SUP Surf Coach
- 11 years surf coaching experience
- Over 15years outdoor education & guiding experiences, working with international & local kids and youth
- Well trained & professional Crews; We taught thousands of adults and kids surfing every year!
- HKSL operated since 2015, this is our 5th year running surfkids camp, we successfully arranged 90+ camp in past few years, taught thousands of kids surfing!
